About RENDER

RENDER at a glance
A marketplace for GPU power
Render connects those who need to render 3D graphics, visual effects or AI workloads with people who have idle GPUs and rent them out for the token. It is an example of the DePIN sector (decentralized physical infrastructure networks): instead of abstract tokens, you pay for a real compute resource.
From RNDR (Ethereum) to RENDER (Solana)
After a community vote, the project migrated in 2023-2024 from the RNDR token on Ethereum to the Solana-native RENDER token, seeking faster and cheaper transactions to handle the large volume of render jobs. If you hold old RNDR, it is worth checking it has been upgraded to RENDER.
Emissions tied to work done
Render uses a "burn and mint" model: clients burn tokens when paying for jobs and the network mints new ones to reward GPU providers. Its value is tied to real demand for rendering and graphics compute; if those jobs do not grow, the token’s utility suffers too.
What can you do with RENDER?
Render 3D projects on distributed GPUs
Render’s core use is submitting rendering jobs (animations, visual effects, complex scenes) to a global network of idle GPUs instead of a single server farm, paying in RENDER for the work processed.
Monetize an idle GPU as an operator
Anyone with powerful graphics cards can join as a node operator, process other users’ rendering jobs and earn RENDER in return. It is a way to monetize compute capacity that would otherwise sit idle.
Pay for compute power for graphics and AI
Beyond classic rendering, Render aims to provide GPU power for graphics computing and artificial intelligence tasks. The RENDER token is the means by which access to that compute is paid for within the network.
