Decred (DCR) is a cryptocurrency designed to foster a decentralised and sustainable governance model. Its main goal is to give the community a real voice in key project decisions, allowing users to vote on development proposals, protocol improvements, and the use of the common treasury, all without relying on a centralised entity. This voting system is integrated into the blockchain itself, ensuring transparency and resistance to manipulation.
