How much could Sui (SUI) be worth?

Sui, developed by Mysten Labs (founded by former engineers of Meta's Diem project), breaks with the traditional account model: each asset (a coin, an NFT, a contract resource) is an independent "object" with its own identifier and owner. That object-centric approach is the foundation of its architecture and of how it processes transactions.

Since most transactions only touch objects owned by the sender, Sui can execute them in parallel without checking for conflicts: simple transfers follow a "fast path" that does not even go through consensus, while operations on shared objects (like DeFi swaps) go through its Mysticeti consensus, a low-latency DAG-based protocol. That parallelism is its performance differentiator.

Sui uses Move, a programming language oriented to digital-asset safety, designed to avoid common smart-contract bugs by treating assets as resources that cannot be duplicated or lost by accident. As a specific risk, a large part of SUI's supply was subject to scheduled unlocks (vesting), which can add supply pressure over time. It is a young and volatile network.
