Bitcoin has no owner or company steering it. BNB started as Binance's token and today powers BNB Chain: its demand is closely tied to the world's largest exchange and its ecosystem, adding a corporate and regulatory dependency BTC does not share.
BTC has an immovable 21-million cap. BNB shrinks its supply via an "auto-burn" program that periodically burns tokens toward roughly 100 million. Both are deflationary, but one is by issuance design and the other through burns driven by its ecosystem.
BTC is used mainly as a reserve and to settle value. BNB has direct utility: it pays gas fees on BNB Chain and unlocks discounts on Binance. Its value is therefore more tied to that network's activity and less to the "digital gold" role attributed to Bitcoin.
