Non-Playable Coin (NPC) is a digital token that merges the features of meme cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), creating what is called a "Meme Fungible Token" (MFT). Inspired by the popular "Non-Playable Character" meme, each NPC token is backed by a JPEG image with specific metadata, allowing it to be traded on both NFT markets and decentralised exchanges like Uniswap. This innovative design aims to offer an entertainment experience and does not have intrinsic value or expectations of financial return. The total supply of NPC was set at 8,050,126,520 tokens, reflecting the recorded human population on July 26, 2023. Users can convert their NPC tokens into NFTs and vice versa through a decentralised application (dApp) provided by the project. This flexibility allows participants to interact with the token in both its fungible and non-fungible forms, adapting to different preferences within the community.
