About Gloria Hernández Aler

Gloria Hernández Aler is co-founder and partner of finReg360, a Spanish consultancy specialised in regulatory advisory for banks, insurers, asset managers, and fintechs. With more than twenty years in the financial sector, she has worked at Cuatrecasas, the Legal Advisory Office of the Madrid Stock Exchange, and Deloitte Legal, where she founded the Financial Regulation Department in 2007. In 2016 she launched finReg360, the country’s first firm dedicated exclusively to financial regulation, now a reference for entities that must adapt business models, contracts, systems, and procedures to an increasingly demanding regulatory framework. She holds a law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an LL.M. in Financial & Securities Regulation from Georgetown University, combining technical rigour with a practical view of compliance. She is a founding partner of ASCOM and EJE&CON, a member of the IEAF-FEF board, and an academic adviser at Fide. Chambers & Partners places her in Band 1 for financial regulation. On Bit2Me Experts she addressed MiCA and its impact on crypto adoption in Europe, connecting the European framework with the decisions users and companies must make when choosing regulated platforms and services.
